The 21st domestic refined oil price adjustment window for 2026 will close at midnight on October 29. As of October 23, the latest data shows that gasoline and diesel prices are set to rise by 290 yuan per ton and 280 yuan per ton, respectively.

Once converted, 92-octane gasoline is expected to increase by 0.23 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.25 yuan per liter, and 0-octane diesel by 0.24 yuan per liter, nearly double the increase anticipated at the start of the pricing cycle.

At present, the national average prices stand at 8.59 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 9.17 yuan per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 8.27 yuan per liter for 0-octane diesel, leaving a gap of only 0.3 yuan per liter from this year's high.

At this stage, the probability of an upward adjustment in this round is already very high, with the increase approaching 0.25 yuan per liter and room for further gains ahead. If the current forecast materializes, domestic 92-octane and 95-octane gasoline prices may hit new highs after the October 29 adjustment.
