SCHOLAR EDU acquires 198,000 shares for award scheme; HK$0.32 million deployed at HK$1.62 average

Bulletin Express04-10

Scholar Education Group (SCHOLAR EDU) disclosed that the trustee of its share award scheme purchased 198,000 shares on-market on 10 April 2026.

The transaction averages HK$1.62 per share, bringing the cash consideration to approximately HK$0.32 million. The newly acquired stake equals about 0.029% of SCHOLAR EDU’s issued share capital.

Following the purchase, the trustee holds 7.15 million shares—roughly 1.06% of the company’s total outstanding shares—earmarked for future distribution to selected participants under the scheme.

The board reiterated that the current market price undervalues the company’s fundamentals and signalled that it will continue to monitor market conditions and authorise further purchases when deemed appropriate.
