Standard Chartered PLC (“STANCHART”) has reduced its issued share capital following the cancellation of 2.01 million ordinary shares that were repurchased on 22-24 June 2026 and formally cancelled on 30 June 2026 (London time).

Key details • Opening share count (24 June 2026): 2,193.05 million shares. • Shares cancelled: 2.01 million, equal to 0.09 % of the pre-cancellation share base. – 22 June: 0.74 million shares at a volume-weighted price of GBP 20.77439. – 23 June: 0.73 million shares at GBP 20.835923. – 24 June: 0.54 million shares at GBP 20.583176. • Aggregate repurchase consideration: approximately GBP 41.62 million, implying a blended price of about GBP 20.74 per share. • Closing share count (30 June 2026): 2,191.05 million shares.

All repurchases were authorised by the Board and executed in compliance with Hong Kong Main Board Rule 13.25A, with confirmation that all regulatory and filing requirements have been met.
