On 30 January 2026, E-House (China) Enterprise Holdings Limited (the Group) provided further information regarding the termination of the Beijing Leju Contractual Arrangements. The Group noted that its operations have been adversely affected by the continued downturn in the PRC real estate industry, leading to a decline in developers’ advertising spending and a drastic decrease in sales of discount coupons. Consequently, Leju’s e-commerce business and related revenue have shrunk substantially.
Beijing Leju, which had carried out nearly all e-commerce services and a significant portion of advertising activities, has experienced a considerable revenue decline. Meanwhile, Beijing Jiajujiu continues to operate one of Leju’s online apps, Leju Caijing, a real estate industry-focused media platform. Due to regulatory requirements on foreign ownership, the Group will retain contractual arrangements for Beijing Jiajujiu.
According to the announcement, Beijing Leju’s revenue contribution is expected to further decrease for the year ended 31 December 2025. The Board stated that the termination of the Beijing Leju Contractual Arrangements and the resulting deconsolidation of Beijing Leju will not have a material impact on the Group’s operations or financial position.
