US stocks showed mixed performance on Thursday, with tech shares, influenced by earnings reports, dragging down the broader market; the three major indices closed with divergent results. The US dollar trended lower, while the yield on the 10-year Treasury note retreated to around 4.23%. Gold prices pulled back from recent highs, whereas oil prices continued their upward trajectory.

Today, Hong Kong's three major indices opened collectively lower. The Hang Seng Index started down 0.65% at 27,785.98 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.88%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index declined 0.68%. Across the market sectors, technology and internet stocks saw broad declines, with Kuaishou dropping over 2%, and Alibaba, Bilibili, Baidu, Tencent, and Xiaomi all falling more than 1%. Gold stocks were mostly lower, led by Chifeng Gold plunging over 8%. Most AI application stocks also declined, with Pony.ai falling more than 4%. In contrast, oil stocks showed activity, with PetroChina rising over 1%.
