Fuel Prices Set to Rise Starting July 31, Adding 27.5 Yuan to Fill a 92-Octane Tank in Guizhou

The Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced on July 31 that, in line with the national refined oil pricing mechanism, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) will raise domestic refined oil prices starting at midnight on July 31.

Based on changes in international crude oil prices, the NDRC decided to increase domestic refined oil prices effective from 24:00 on July 31, 2026. In accordance with the national adjustment requirements and relevant regulations, the prices of 89# gasoline (National VIB) and 0# diesel in Guizhou Province will be raised by 685 yuan per ton and 655 yuan per ton, respectively, based on current standards. Specific prices can be determined by individual operating companies, provided they do not exceed the maximum wholesale and retail price limits.

After the adjustment, taking Guiyang as an example, the price of 89-octane gasoline will increase from 7.12 yuan per liter to 7.64 yuan per liter, 92-octane gasoline from 7.55 yuan per liter to 8.10 yuan per liter, and 95-octane gasoline from 7.98 yuan per liter to 8.56 yuan per liter. Based on an estimated 50-liter fuel tank capacity for a typical family car, filling up a full tank of 92-octane gasoline will cost an additional 27.5 yuan.
