Hermes Reports 9.6% Sales Increase in Q3, Slight Improvement in China Market Performance

Hermes announced on Wednesday that its sales for the third quarter increased by 9.6%, surpassing its peers, with a slight improvement in the key market of China. Eric de Halgouet, Chief Financial Officer of L'Oreal, mentioned during a conference call that “a very slight improvement was observed in the Greater China region during the third quarter.” For the three months ended September 30, the company's sales reached €3.88 billion (approximately $4.52 billion), reflecting a 9.6% growth, aligning closely with analysts' forecast of 10% growth. The company's leather goods segment saw a 13.3% increase in sales for the third quarter, which includes classic items such as the Birkin, Constance, and Kelly handbags.
