On October 25, the Shanghai Airport Suzhou Service Center officially began operations, warmly welcoming global travelers arriving in Shanghai with their sights set on Suzhou.
As a key platform for Suzhou's connectivity to the Shanghai international aviation hub, the Shanghai Airport Suzhou Service Center is located in the international arrivals area of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Together with the Shanghai Airport Suzhou Urban Terminal in the Suzhou Industrial Park, it forms a "two-way service closed loop," ensuring seamless travel services for passengers. This center also serves as a "pre-window" for Suzhou's city image at the Shanghai airport, showcasing an open, friendly, and efficient international image of Suzhou to global travelers.
Since its trial operation began in September this year, the Shanghai Airport Suzhou Service Center has engaged an average of about 300 inquiries and service requests daily, reflecting strong service demand and market recognition. The center integrates several professional services, including inquiries, full-service accompaniment between Shanghai and Suzhou, and intercity item delivery, committed to providing one-stop travel solutions for travelers heading from Shanghai to Suzhou. For instance, the "efficient transport connection" service offers round-the-clock airport pick-up and drop-off, covering various options such as shuttles, chartered cars, and ride-sharing, with the fastest response time as short as 15 minutes.
The official launch of the Shanghai Airport Suzhou Service Center marks a significant project in the deepening integration between Shanghai and Suzhou, serving as a model for cooperation among national ports and cities in areas such as industry, culture and tourism, and commerce, while helping Suzhou continue to optimize its business environment.
