Hyundai Motor Launches Vehicle-to-Everything Service, Transforming EVs into Mobile Power Banks

Hyundai Motor Group announced on Tuesday that it will launch an integrated Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) service globally, enabling electric vehicles to serve as mobile energy storage units capable of supplying power to homes, buildings, other vehicles, and even the electrical grid.

V2X technology effectively transforms electric vehicles into "mobile batteries," allowing them to store electricity and deliver power wherever and whenever it is needed.

The automaker had previously operated its V2X services separately in South Korea, the United States, and Europe. The new service will consolidate these offerings into a unified platform named All Day Energy.

Hyundai stated that the service will first be introduced in the United Kingdom, with plans to gradually expand to other markets through the Hyundai Motor Group's vehicle application.
