Lenovo Group Shares Climb Over 3% Following Completion of Infinidat Acquisition

Lenovo Group (00992) saw its shares rise more than 3% during the trading session. As of the latest update, the stock was up 2.43%, trading at HK$10.12 with a turnover of HK$273 million. The company announced on April 9, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of Infinidat, a global provider of high-end enterprise storage solutions. This transaction is expected to strengthen Lenovo's position in the enterprise storage market and enhance its ability to offer reliable, intelligent, and AI-compatible data infrastructure to global customers. The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) business is regarded as a key growth engine for Lenovo, driven by AI. With the Infinidat acquisition finalized, the profitability of the ISG division is anticipated to improve further. In the third quarter of the 2025/2026 fiscal year, ISG revenue increased by 31% year-on-year, nearing breakeven. Infinidat specializes in high-end enterprise storage solutions for mission-critical scenarios, with core products including InfiniBox, InfiniBox SSA, InfiniGuard, and InfiniVerse.
