CITIC BANK (00998) has announced the successful issuance of its 2026 perpetual capital bonds (second tranche) in the national interbank bond market.
The bonds were recorded on June 10, 2026, and the issuance was completed on June 12.
The total issuance size is 20 billion yuan.
The bonds carry a coupon rate of 1.97% for the first five years, with the rate subject to adjustment every five years thereafter.
The issuer holds a conditional redemption right on each interest payment date from the fifth year onward.
