CZBANK Chairman Unveils Comprehensive Talent Development Strategy Targeting Young Graduates

Deep News03-31

On March 31, at the 2025 performance briefing held by CZBANK, Chairman Chen Haiqiang emphasized that a first-class commercial bank necessitates a first-class talent team, and high-quality development requires long-term talent cultivation planning. Chairman Chen stated that CZBANK will adhere to its "talent-driven" strategy and establish a long-cycle talent development system through three key initiatives.

First, the bank will prioritize internal cultivation. In the future, in principle, 70% to 80% of managerial positions will be filled through internal development, while the recruitment of specialized professionals from outside will continue.

Second, the focus will be on cultivating university graduates. Regarding young talent reserves, Chairman Chen announced: "A recruitment plan spanning over five years, aiming to hire more than 5,000 university graduates, will be implemented. A full life-cycle training mechanism for graduates will be established to facilitate their rapid adaptation to roles through standardized management." He indicated that systematic training will make the team younger, more knowledgeable, professional, and dynamic, thereby injecting sustained innovative vitality into the bank.

Third, the bank is committed to building specialized and expert branches. On enhancing workforce capabilities, Chairman Chen pointed out: "We aim to improve the professional competence and job performance of all staff by continuously refining the training system, optimizing incentive mechanisms, and accelerating job sequence reforms." He stressed that through institutional innovation, the bank will enable young employees to grow quickly and take on significant responsibilities, while also motivating senior staff to contribute their valuable experience, thereby comprehensively enhancing the value of human resources.
