Yonghui Superstores Co.,Ltd. CEO Wang Shoucheng issued a New Year's letter to all employees today, reflecting on the company's past and offering an apology. "The year 2025 marks the beginning of the first three-year reform and transformation period for the new Yonghui. Facing industry fluctuations, we have chosen to calm our minds, lower our heads, reflect on our shortcomings, and learn from the best," he stated. "Looking back, we admit that in the pursuit of scale, we once deviated from our original entrepreneurial spirit. Our ambitions exceeded our capabilities, and we failed to live up to the hard work of our employees and the trust of our customers. We have deeply realized our problems and sincerely apologize to everyone here."

Wang Shoucheng expressed gratitude in the letter for the assistance and support from Pang Donglai. He indicated that it was under the guidance of this "people-oriented" philosophy that Yonghui Superstores initiated profound self-reform. In 2025, the company closed nearly 400 low-quality stores and concentrated efforts on systematically renovating over 300 existing stores. This led to a dual increase in both same-store customer traffic and sales throughout 2025. The company also distributed nearly 50 million yuan in profit-sharing bonuses to employees for the full year.

Wang Shoucheng stated that in 2026, Yonghui Superstores will focus on three key areas of "deep cultivation." The first is deepening product development, shifting from procurement to co-cultivation to establish a quality ecosystem. The second is deepening store operations, transforming from mere transaction spaces into lifestyle venues to create a quality living experience. The third is deepening organizational structure, evolving management functions into service functions to help employees achieve a quality life.
