According to monitoring data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Agricultural Product Wholesale Prices" stood at 115.96 on May 7, down 0.15 points from the previous day. The wholesale price index for "basket of goods" products was 116.53, a decrease of 0.17 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price for pork in agricultural product markets was 15.12 yuan per kilogram, falling 0.5% compared to yesterday. Beef was priced at 66.34 yuan per kilogram, down 0.6%; mutton cost 63.80 yuan per kilogram, declining 0.8%; eggs were at 8.78 yuan per kilogram, dropping 0.6%; and dressed chicken was priced at 16.74 yuan per kilogram, down 3.9%. The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.29 yuan per kilogram, rising 0.9% from yesterday. The average price for six key monitored fruits was 7.59 yuan per kilogram, decreasing 1.3%. Crucian carp was priced at 20.19 yuan per kilogram, down 0.8%; common carp cost 14.74 yuan per kilogram, falling 1.4%; silver carp was at 10.49 yuan per kilogram, dropping 1.5%; and large hairtail was priced at 40.49 yuan per kilogram, declining 6.1%.
