Goldwind's stock surged 5.39% during intraday trading, following the release of its strong first-quarter 2026 financial results.
The company reported revenue of RMB 15.485 billion, a 63.48% year-on-year increase, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 907 million, up 59.65%. External sales of wind turbines reached 6.04 GW, growing 133% from the prior year, while the order backlog stood at 50.7 GW with overseas orders rising to 9,567 MW.
Analysts note that wind turbine manufacturing has returned to profitability, with margins expected to improve further in 2026 due to high-value and overseas order deliveries. Additional growth drivers include the green methanol initiative and a 4.14% stake in Blue Arrow Aerospace, supported by upcoming rocket launches.
