The 23rd China International Digital Entertainment Expo recently kicked off in Shanghai.

Advertising technology firm Almedia made its presence felt at the 2026 ChinaJoy BTOB exhibition area, booth W5-B102, under the theme "Leading the Future of Incentive-Driven Growth." During the event, the company's growth expert team offered one-on-one growth strategy consultations to attendees. The booth also featured an interactive fun game called "Cashy Bird" and offered six major surprise gifts for a limited time.

At the expo, Almedia released the Chinese version of its 2026 Incentive-Driven User Growth Industry Report, providing overseas market practitioners with cutting-edge data insights and methodology references. The report highlights that incentivized user acquisition has become a standard practice in the mobile app industry. In a survey covering 10 global markets, rewarded campaign spending has grown to 93%, with 61% of advertisers planning to increase investment further in 2026. Amid rising global user acquisition costs, developers are shifting from focusing solely on download numbers to acquiring high-quality users with long-term value, aiming for scalable and sustainable growth and monetization in a competitive landscape.

According to the company's official website, Almedia's incentivized user acquisition platform, Freecash, now connects over 80 million registered users worldwide and has paid out more than $300 million in rewards. Thanks to its transparent mechanism and fast withdrawal experience, Freecash has garnered over 235,000 reviews on Trustpilot, achieving a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars.

During the expo, Almedia unveiled a product called LINK for the Chinese market. LINK is an in-game incentive solution developed by Almedia. Players can link their Freecash account through LINK and earn real-world rewards upon reaching specific in-game milestones, while developers gain additional revenue streams. In the product launch session, Almedia detailed to attendees how LINK helps game developers create a full-cycle growth loop from user acquisition to value monetization. By leveraging Freecash to acquire highly active, high-retention core users at the front end and using LINK for efficient monetization at the back end, some projects have seen a 2x improvement in 180-day ROAS and a 3x increase in ARPU compared to traditional channels.
