Reports Emerge of 37 LEAPMOTOR Factory Workers Absent in Protest of Unpaid Overtime

Deep News05-20

Recent reports from employees on social media indicate that 37 workers at a LEAPMOTOR factory were collectively absent during a night shift, reportedly in protest against unpaid overtime.

Screenshots circulating online show a statistical table shared within an internal company group, with a message stating, "@everyone, 37 workers from the final assembly interior line are absent. Keep an eye on them."

Earlier reports suggested that LEAPMOTOR had revised its overtime and compensatory leave policies, leading to a reduction in related benefits and causing dissatisfaction among employees.

As of the time of reporting, LEAPMOTOR has not issued an official response to the matter.
