The United States Department of State has announced that Iraq and Syria will collaborate to restore and operate an oil pipeline connecting the two nations, with an initial capacity of 2 million barrels per day.
The U.S. has expressed support for the involvement of an "international consortium" led by the United States, which would contribute to the project's technical and financial aspects.
