JNCEC (00579) announced its interim results for 2025, reporting revenue of approximately RMB 10.8997 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.91%. The company's net profit attributable to equity holders reached approximately RMB 1.983 billion, down 4.98% compared to the same period last year. Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at 24.05 cents.
The gas power generation segment operated steadily with all key indicators showing stable growth, demonstrating strong resilience. In the first half of the year, the gas power generation and heating segment generated 9.72 billion kWh of electricity, up 2.3% year-on-year, with equipment utilization hours of approximately 2,036 hours, an increase of 17 hours compared to the previous year and 1,029 hours above the national average. This segment contributed operating revenue of RMB 6.58 billion, up 2.0% year-on-year.
The Group effectively mitigated the impact of electricity price fluctuations through measures such as deepening combined heat and power dispatch and expanding industrial steam customers. Beijing Jineng Gao'antun Gas Thermal Power Co., Ltd. increased power generation by 280 million kWh year-on-year, a growth of 19%, showing significant improvement in capacity utilization efficiency. Beijing Jingqiao Thermal Power Co., Ltd. reduced comprehensive power supply gas consumption by 0.6% year-on-year, demonstrating the effectiveness of refined management. Beijing Shangzhuang Gas Thermal Power Co., Ltd., driven by innovative business initiatives, saw profits surge 26.9% year-on-year, providing a practical model for gas power plant transformation and upgrading.
As of June 30, 2025, the Group's total installed capacity steadily increased to 17.914 million kW, up 21.4% year-on-year. Non-fossil energy installed capacity reached 13.139 million kW, accounting for 73.3% of total installed capacity, further optimizing the energy structure. Wind power installed capacity reached 7.048 million kW, with new additions of 190,000 kW compared to the end of 2024. Solar power installed capacity reached 5.555 million kW, with new additions of 287,000 kW. The Group has 2.056 million kW of installed capacity under construction, all renewable energy projects.
In the first half of the year, the Group's total power generation reached 21.87 billion kWh, up 8.8% year-on-year. Wind power generation reached 8.49 billion kWh, up 18.9% year-on-year, with equipment utilization hours of approximately 1,240 hours, 153 hours above the national average. Solar power generation reached 3.36 billion kWh, up 17.4% year-on-year, with equipment utilization hours of approximately 680 hours, 120 hours above the national average.
