Institutional Appetite Returns as Nearly $1 Billion Flows Into Spot ETFs, Bitcoin Holds Above $86K

Stock News11:11

Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds in the U.S. market have recorded net inflows approaching $1 billion, pushing the leading cryptocurrency to hold firm above the $86,000 mark. This marks a significant rebound in institutional investor demand after a prolonged period of subdued activity.

Digital asset trading firm Castillo Trading projects that bitcoin will first rally toward the $89,000 zone before making another attempt to test the $80,000 support level. The firm emphasizes that any downward move should not be interpreted as a bearish signal, but rather as a buying opportunity.

Trader Michael van de Poppe is focusing on the $84,000 price point, viewing it as a critical area for establishing long positions once a breakout is confirmed. Meanwhile, trader CryptosBatman notes that the most recent trading session saw ETF net inflows close to $1 billion, confirming that institutional demand has made a comeback after several months of weakness. He asserts that "real money is flowing back in" and believes the bottom for bitcoin may already be in place.
