AXERA (00600) shares surged more than 16% in Hong Kong trading, reaching HK$14.64 at the time of writing, with a trading volume of HK$12.3278 million. This marks a continued upward trend for the stock.
In a recent development, AXERA and Agora jointly announced the successful integration of Agora's real-time interaction solution for robotic scenarios, based on AXERA's AX8850N system-on-chip (SoC). The solution is designed for the broader robotics industry and has been adapted for various applications, including industrial AGVs, AMRs, robotic dogs, service robots, home companion devices, IP cameras, agricultural inspection and plant protection vehicles, as well as energy and industrial park IP cameras.
Public records indicate that AXERA is a provider of AI inference system chips, specializing in building high-performance perception and computing platforms for edge computing and terminal device AI applications. According to a Frost & Sullivan report, by 2024 shipment volume, AXERA has become the world's largest provider of mid-to-high-end vision-side AI inference chips and ranks among the top five globally in the vision-side AI inference chip market. Additionally, the company holds the third position in China's edge AI inference chip market and is the second-largest domestic supplier in the intelligent driving SoC sector.
