SH PHARMA's B001 Phase III Trial for NMOSD Concludes Unblinding with Positive Efficacy and Safety Data

Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co.,Ltd. has announced that, as of the first quarter of 2026, the unblinding for the main study (RCP) of the Phase III clinical trial for its B001 project targeting neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) has been completed. The trial results indicate that B001 significantly reduces the relapse risk in AQP4-IGG positive NMOSD patients compared to a placebo. Furthermore, B001 demonstrates a superior safety profile relative to approved drugs in the same class, with lower incidences of infusion-related adverse reactions, infection-related adverse reactions, immunoglobulin reduction, and hematology-related adverse reactions.
