From the city of Hegang to the metropolis of Shenzhen, the distance spans 3,743 kilometers. Within 24 days of graduating, she faced job termination. Four years after her mother fell ill, she passed away suddenly. The six years Ma Ke spent as a "Shenzhen drifter" are filled with the most challenging struggles of an ordinary life.
In Shenzhen, Ma Ke found solace in the familiar. She purchased a case of yogurt from her hometown through PDD Holdings Inc. Later, she used the platform to collect milk from across China: Xinjiang, Sichuan, Yunnan, Shaanxi... Places she could not yet visit in person arrived at her doorstep via delivery.
Now, despite not being well-off, she relies on PDD Holdings Inc for her daily necessities, from clothing and food to accommodation and travel. Ma Ke says, "On PDD Holdings Inc, those who can't afford expensive items can find alternatives; those who can't buy new releases can wait for end-of-line stock. Not everyone needs perfect goods. Often, simply having something is enough for me."
