Regulator Approves Business Scope Expansion for Sunshine Asset Management

On September 23, financial sector sources reported that the National Financial Regulatory Administration has issued an official approval for Sunshine Asset Management Co., Ltd. to modify its permitted business scope.

The newly approved business scope includes: (1) entrusted management of insurance funds and all assets formed therefrom; (2) entrusted management of other funds and all assets formed therefrom; (3) management and utilization of the company's own domestic and foreign currency funds; (4) conducting insurance asset management product operations, asset securitization operations, insurance private fund operations, among others; (5) providing investment consulting, investment advisory services, as well as professional services related to asset management operations, including operations, accounting, and risk management; (6) other business activities approved by the National Financial Regulatory Administration; and (7) business activities approved by other departments of the State Council.
