SHANXI INSTALL (HKEX: 02520) has announced a significant overseas contract win. On July 14, 2026, the group entered into an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a project valued at approximately RMB 1.5 billion. This contract represents the group's first major project to be implemented in the Middle East region.
The company has been awarded the EPC contract for the 500MW Al Kamil Phase I photovoltaic project in Oman. This project is situated in the Al Kamil Wal Wafi region of Oman, approximately 230 kilometers from Muscat International Airport and 440 kilometers from the port of Sohar.
The scope of the project encompasses the design, manufacturing, procurement, supply, factory testing, transportation, installation, construction, connection to a high-voltage substation, testing, and commissioning of the photovoltaic power station. It also includes operation and maintenance services for a period of two and a half years.
