Litian Pictures Appoints McMillan Woods as New Auditor Following KPMG Resignation

Bulletin Express07-30

Litian Pictures Holdings Limited announced on 30 July 2026 that KPMG has resigned as the Group’s auditor with immediate effect. The resignation was attributed to considerations involving audit time, manpower, professional resources, and fee levels related to the financial year ended 30 June 2026.

According to the Board, KPMG had not commenced audit work for the 2026 financial year, and there are no disagreements or additional matters requiring shareholder attention. Management believes the auditor change will not affect completion of the 2026 audit or the timing of the annual results release.

To fill the vacancy, the Board—on Audit Committee recommendation—appointed McMillan Woods (Hong Kong) CPA Limited as the new auditor, effective the same day, until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting.

The Audit Committee cited McMillan Woods’ audit experience with Hong Kong–listed companies, independence, team capability, market reputation, competitive fee proposal, and alignment with Accounting and Financial Reporting Council guidance as key factors in its decision. The Board expects the transition to preserve audit quality while enhancing cost-effectiveness for shareholders.
