Xinchang Science and Technology Innovation Park (Phase I) Project Wins "2025 CCCC Quality Engineering Award"

Deep News12-10

The Xinchang Science and Technology Innovation Park (Phase I) project, constructed by the Fourth Company of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Bureau, has been awarded the "2025 CCCC Quality Engineering Award" for its outstanding engineering quality, innovative technological applications, and significant social value.

Located in Xinchang County, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, the project occupies a core area of the Xinchang Intelligent Manufacturing and Innovation Corridor. With a total construction area of 112,800 square meters, it comprises eight individual buildings and supporting facilities, with a construction cost of approximately 530 million yuan.

The design concept revolves around "Cloud, Mountain, and Summit," seamlessly integrating Xinchang's natural landscape with technological innovation to create a scenic, ecological, and sustainable modern park. The No. 1 Comprehensive Service Building features elliptical structures on both sides, connected by a "cloud-shaped" hyperbolic steel mesh shell and steel roof, embodying a futuristic "Cloud Gate" design. The No. 2 and No. 3 Research Buildings are interconnected with sloping roofs, while Building No. 8 adopts an "island cloud" layout with glass curtain walls and integrated thermal insulation panels, harmonizing with the surrounding mountains while meeting green building standards. The project has become a landmark and popular attraction in Xinchang County.

The project implemented 7 major and 23 minor items from the construction industry's top ten new technologies, developed two proprietary core technologies, and filed for one invention patent and two utility model patents. Its "Key Technology for Anti-floating Basement Construction" won the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Bureau.

Focused on quality excellence and intrinsic safety, the project team adopted measures such as quality planning, risk identification, dynamic control, design optimization, industrial construction techniques, and refined management to deliver a high-quality, accident-free, and hazard-free project.

The team also prioritized energy-saving and eco-friendly materials, achieving a comprehensive energy-saving rate of 51.36% and an annual renewable energy saving equivalent to 145.53 tons of standard coal. The project earned a 2-star Green Building certification and multiple honors, including "Excellent Construction Site in Shaoxing City" and "Standardized Safety Production Construction Site in Zhejiang Province."

Since its completion in October 2023, the project has served as a "smart manufacturing engine" for Xinchang's high-quality development, generating notable social and economic benefits. Its superior environment and facilities attracted Zhejiang University's Tianmu Laboratory, establishing a joint postgraduate training base, along with partnerships with enterprises like Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The park has become a preferred venue for innovation-focused conferences, hosting international academic events and provincial-level high-tech development forums.

Winning the "2025 CCCC Quality Engineering Award" recognizes the project team's dedication and innovation. Moving forward, the team will uphold the corporate mission of "Consolidating Foundations, Pioneering Roads, and Pursuing Excellence" to deliver more high-quality projects, support regional development, and contribute to national strategic goals while advancing the group's vision of becoming a world-class enterprise.
