Zhida Technology Publishes 2025 ESG Report Highlighting RMB 53.47 Million R&D Spend, 58% Green Power Use at Core Plants and Zero Safety Incidents

Shanghai-based Zhida Technology released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing progress in corporate governance, innovation, environmental management and workforce development.

Governance & Compliance • No information-security vulnerabilities, cyber incidents or data leaks were recorded; core systems hold ISO 27001, ISO 20000 and ISO 22301 certifications and three key platforms achieved Class III MLPS accreditation. • All core suppliers (100%) signed Integrity and Sustainable Procurement Commitment Letters; Zhida obtained ISO 20400 certification for sustainable purchasing. • The board met nine times during the year, with female directors accounting for 40% of membership.

Innovation & Product Safety • R&D expenditure totalled RMB 53.47 million, supporting 144 cumulative patents and 152 software copyrights. • No product safety incidents or recalls occurred; both Xuancheng and Anqing factories maintain IATF 16949 quality certification. • Automatic charging robots achieved large-scale deployment, including at Hong Kong International Airport.

Environmental Metrics • Scope 1 emissions: 51.12 tCO₂e; Scope 2 emissions: 1,329.23 tCO₂e, bringing total Scope 1 + 2 to 1,380.35 tCO₂e. • Energy consumption fell to 334.62 tons of standard coal equivalent, with energy intensity at 0.47 tons of standard coal per RMB million revenue. • Xuancheng and Anqing plants purchased 843,424 kWh of green electricity, covering 58% and 44% of their respective power needs. • The Thailand plant’s rooftop PV system generated 14,167 kWh, of which 13,759 kWh was self-consumed. • Total gasoline use at Xuancheng and Anqing dropped 29.50% year-on-year, approaching the 30% reduction target set for 2030.

Resource & Waste • Total water use reached 11,315.20 tons; a 10% reduction in water intensity versus 2024 is targeted by 2030. • Hazardous waste amounted to 1.94 tons; non-hazardous industrial waste was 37.49 tons, with a 30% intensity cut goal set for 2030.

Workforce & Safety • Headcount rose to 552, with women representing 51.63% of employees and 33% of management; new hires were 59% female. • Foreign staff increased 58% to 38 employees as global operations expanded. • No work-related fatalities or injuries occurred; the company met its “Four Zeroes, Four 100%s” safety targets and holds ISO 45001 certification across major sites. • Employee satisfaction reached 94% with a 100% survey response rate.

Community & Industry Engagement • The firm co-launched an AI Intelligent Charging Committee, showcased technology at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and completed solar-storage-charging demonstration projects in Qatar and Indonesia.

Zhida Technology states it will continue integrating “globalisation, digitalisation and intelligence” into its strategy while progressing toward the 2030 energy-use and waste-reduction targets outlined in the report.
