A prominent market research firm has released its 2026 first-half new energy vehicle brand health study.

The data reveals that NIO Inc. achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 81.9, ranking first among 65 brands and marking a 7 percentage point increase from the previous period, making it the only brand to exceed 80.

Firefly's NPS stood at 79.7, securing the second position in the industry and significantly outperforming the industry average NPS of 60.9.

NPS is a core metric for gauging overall customer satisfaction and willingness to recommend a brand.

According to the cited reasons for recommendation, product experience is the primary factor driving NIO users to recommend the brand.

Since the launch of the ES8, NIO's NPS has consistently risen.

As of June 22nd, cumulative deliveries of the NIO ES8 surpassed 120,000 units, a milestone reached in 275 days.

Through May of this year, the NIO ES8 held the top spot in sales within China's large SUV segment and the market for vehicles priced above 400,000 yuan for six consecutive months.

The large five-seater version of the NIO ES8 is now available for pre-order, with its official market launch scheduled for July 9th.

Furthermore, the study indicates that the proportion of recommendations for NIO's services is notably higher than the industry average, and the proportion of recommendations based on brand prestige also leads significantly, showing that NIO's brand image and premium positioning have gained broad user recognition.

In a separate 2026 China Purchase Experience Index study released in June, NIO scored 827 points, securing the top position for both luxury new energy brands and domestic new energy brands in terms of purchase experience, with a comprehensive score substantially ahead of traditional luxury brands like Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and other domestic new energy competitors.

In the first half of this year, NIO's cumulative new vehicle deliveries reached 191,123 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 67.4%, the highest growth rate among automakers.

Retail sales data shows that in May, NIO's national sales fully led the "BBA" group, outselling them in 48 cities and regions including major hubs like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou.

In May, NIO's average transaction price was 382,200 yuan, surpassing that of "BBA" and other luxury brands, and this lead widened further in June as NIO's average price reached 443,000 yuan.
