CHALIECO books RMB11.54 billion in new Q1 2026 orders; contract backlog expands 18.80%

China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation Limited (CHALIECO) recorded RMB11.54 billion in newly-signed contracts for January–March 2026, a 34.72% year-on-year increase.

Industrial projects dominated the intake, contributing RMB11.39 billion, or 98.73% of the total, and rising 35.58% from the prior-year period. Non-industrial projects added RMB0.15 billion, down 9.82% year on year.

By business line: • EPC general contracting and engineering generated RMB9.81 billion, up 31.59%. • Design consultancy secured RMB862 million, a 75.88% surge. • Stand-alone equipment manufacturing orders reached RMB871 million, up 39.74%.

Geographically, domestic contracts amounted to RMB9.45 billion, up 23.24%, while overseas orders jumped 132.44% to RMB2.09 billion, lifting the offshore share to 18.12% of the quarterly total.

As of 31 March 2026, the company’s contract backlog stood at RMB51.29 billion, up 18.80% versus a year earlier. Industrial projects accounted for RMB46.41 billion, and non-industrial projects RMB4.88 billion. EPC general contracting and engineering represented the largest portion of the backlog at RMB43.33 billion, reflecting a 32.28% year-on-year expansion. Overseas backlog more than doubled to RMB21.77 billion, now comprising 42.50% of total outstanding orders.
