Reports indicate that DeepSeek is planning to raise approximately 50 billion yuan in its first funding round, with investors including TENCENT and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.,Ltd.. Should this financing round be completed, DeepSeek's post-money valuation is projected to be between 350 billion and 400 billion yuan.

According to informed sources, DeepSeek's founder, Liang Wenfeng, will independently contribute 20 billion yuan to this round. TENCENT intends to invest 10 billion yuan, while Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.,Ltd. plans to invest 5 billion yuan, positioning them as the largest external investors in this funding effort. Additionally, DeepSeek is currently in investment discussions with other entities, including China's National AI Industry Investment Fund, NetEase, and JD.com.

The impressive lineup of potential investors underscores the significant market attention focused on DeepSeek. Prior to this, it was also reported that the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund was in talks to potentially lead DeepSeek's first external funding round.
