South Korea's KOSPI Surges Past 6,900 Points, Samsung and SK hynix Rally Strongly

The KOSPI index has broken through the 6,900-point milestone, climbing 3.34% in early trading as investor sentiment remains robust across the South Korean market.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has advanced 4.5%, while SK hynix has jumped 5.4%, leading the charge in the index's upward momentum.

In neighboring Japan, the Nikkei 225 index opened with a gain of 0.89%, reaching 65,600.42 points at the start of the trading session.
