An exchange and matchmaking event titled "Anime Gathering at Xiong'an, Innovating and Leading OPC" brought together anime drama talent from across the country to Xiong'an New Area on October 30, with more than 200 participants including creators and teams, operating platforms, and representatives from universities and industry associations.

The "bilibili Thousand-Episode Anime Drama Lands in Hebei" initiative was simultaneously launched at the event, establishing a direct channel connecting platform demand with local production capacity in Hebei.

AI anime drama is a new business format born from the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and content creation, belonging to the broader category of AI short dramas. The new creative organization model represented by the "One-Person Company" (OPC) is driving AI anime drama content production toward individualized and intelligent transformation. The event aims to gather anime drama creative talent from across the country to settle in Xiong'an, helping the new area accelerate its development into a highland for OPC growth.

Niu Jian, investment manager at the Xiong'an New Area Zhongguancun Science Park, said that the Rainforest Space OPC Community, jointly built by the park and China Xiong'an Group Urban Development Investment Co., Ltd., has already gathered more than 30 entrepreneurial entities, with its core approach being to attract creators through "orders."

On October 30, the "Anime Gathering at Xiong'an, Innovating and Leading OPC" national anime drama talent exchange and matchmaking event was held in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province.

The event released four OPC empowerment measures and established a dedicated matchmaking platform, focusing on themes including OPC community incubation, anime drama creation, platform operations, and investment and financing connections, promoting on-site interaction among OPC platforms, creative teams, and financial investment institutions, helping projects identify application scenarios and enabling capital to empower content creation for efficient supply-demand matching.

"Currently, AI short drama users and market scale are growing rapidly, but problems such as content homogenization and unclear copyright authorization chains have been prominently exposed," said Zhou Qingshan, professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Information Management at Peking University. He suggested that future AI short drama creation could shift toward premium vertical models and be implemented in scenarios such as urban cultural tourism IP, cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage, and immersive experiences at scenic spots.

Deng Guiyao, director of the Industrial Power Audiovisual Center at the Industrial Culture Development Center of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, noted that industrial content currently faces narrative difficulties, with limited reach to niche groups and insufficient participation from young people. AI anime dramas can approach this from different dimensions, "making engineers, workers, and youth growth become narrative anchor points."
