A recent update from Shaxi Town indicates that construction of the Suweixuan Food Technology headquarters base project is advancing at full speed, with completion expected in early next year and full production scheduled for April of the same year.
The project aims to build a comprehensive food ingredient industry demonstration base integrating production, research and development, warehousing, logistics, sales, and corporate headquarters operations. Once completed, it will become a benchmark prepared dish industrial base in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Located in the New Materials Industrial Park of Shaxi Town, the Suweixuan Food Technology headquarters base project involves a total investment of 500 million yuan, covers 43.9 mu of land, and features a newly built 630,000-square-meter intelligent comprehensive park. It will have the capacity to supply a full range of food ingredients including frozen meat products, cut fresh products, rice and flour products, pre-prepared vegetables, sauces and seasonings, and restaurant daily necessities. It can directly serve leading restaurant chains and supermarket brands such as Yuni Together, Uncle Pu, Qian Xiaojiang, Xiabuxiabu, Hema, Dingdong Maicai, and Aldi. The projected annual output value is expected to reach 2 billion yuan.
Through this project, Suweixuan will complete its industrial transformation and upgrading, connecting the entire chain from cultivation and breeding to deep processing to sales and logistics, and building a closed-loop food ecosystem from farm to table. At the same time, with Shaxi as its core foundation, the company will deepen its presence in the Yangtze River Delta market and gradually expand nationwide, ultimately becoming a powerful engine driving regional food industry upgrading.
"The main structure was topped out more than two months ahead of the original schedule, buying us time for subsequent construction," said Liu Yichen, Vice Chairman of Suweixuan Food Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Behind the accelerated project progress is the support of Shaxi Town's business environment service philosophy of "no unnecessary interference, immediate response when needed." During the project's implementation, Shaxi Town made full efforts to handle the entire land supply process on behalf of the enterprise, coordinating with relevant units to proactively complete the road network and water, electricity, and gas infrastructure around the plot as needed.
"From land supply and planning approval to water, electricity, and gas coordination, Shaxi Town held five special coordination meetings, proactively stepping forward to solve enterprise difficulties, truly achieving 'fast start and fast construction' for the project," Liu Yichen said.
In response to the project's construction needs, Shaxi Town also explored for the first time a mechanism for separately processing pile foundation construction permits, breaking the traditional process that required "full set of drawings approved before construction can begin." Through a "segmented approval, pile foundation first" approval acceleration model, it achieved "dual-track parallel processing and synchronized advancement of pile foundation construction and main structure drawing review," thereby prioritizing the processing of the pile foundation construction permit for the enterprise and effectively buying more than two months of valuable construction time.
Suweixuan Food Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in Shaxi in 2014. After years of development, the company has formed a business system centered on the research and development, production, and sales of beef, poultry, aquatic products, and other foods, with over a hundred products across six major categories. The implementation of the company's headquarters base project has filled a critical gap in the optimization of Shaxi Town's industrial structure.
Previously, Shaxi's leading industries were mainly equipment manufacturing, new materials, and pharmaceutical and health. After the Suweixuan Food Technology headquarters base project goes into production, it will effectively help Shaxi strengthen its food industry track and promote high-quality development of the regional economy.
