Sinomine Resource Announces Temporary Shutdown for Maintenance at Jiangxi Lithium Facility

Stock News06-30

Sinomine Resource Group Co.,Ltd. (ASX: 002738) has issued an announcement regarding a temporary production halt for maintenance at its lithium salt operations.

The decision was made due to a temporary mismatch between the transportation schedule of the company's self-produced lithium concentrate and the production scheduling at its own lithium salt plant.

Starting from June 30, 2026, the "30,000-ton high-purity lithium salt" production line at Jiangxi Sinomine Lithium Industry will undergo a temporary shutdown for maintenance.

Furthermore, beginning July 11, 2026, the "35,000-ton high-purity lithium salt" production line at the same facility will also be temporarily halted for maintenance, operating at a reduced capacity in the interim.

This planned maintenance is expected to result in a short-term decrease in the company's lithium salt output.

However, from a long-term perspective, robust downstream demand for lithium salts persists. Once the company's self-produced lithium concentrate arrives at the plant, measures such as resuming full production at the lithium salt facility or selling a portion of the concentrate can be implemented to boost production and sales volume, measured in lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE).

The company anticipates that its full-year lithium salt production and sales will not be materially adversely affected by this temporary maintenance shutdown.
