Seven Government Bodies Conduct Labor Guidance for Major Platform and Courier Companies Including Meituan and Taobao Quick Purchase

According to Xinhua News Agency, recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, in conjunction with the Central Committee for Social Work, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Transport, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the State Post Bureau, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, conducted administrative guidance on labor practices for 16 companies. This initiative aims to protect the rights of workers in new forms of employment. The companies involved include MEITUAN-W, Taobao Quick Purchase, JD.com Instant Delivery, Flash Express, SF Intra-City, Hema, DiDi, T3 Go, CaoCao Mobility, Lalamove, Full Truck Alliance, YTO Express, STO Express, ZTO Express, Yunda Express, and J&T Express. The meeting required the relevant enterprises to fully implement their primary responsibilities in employment, continuously improve labor management, and effectively safeguard the rights and interests of workers in new employment forms.
