Continental Aerospace: Weiss Asset Management Lifts Stake to 7.01% During Delisting Process

Continental Aerospace Technologies Holding Limited (abbreviated “Continental Aerospace”) disclosed on 1 August 2026 that Weiss Asset Management LP (Weiss AM) increased its shareholding to 7.01% as of 31 July 2026, according to a filing under Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers.

On 31 July 2026, Weiss AM—classified as a Class (6) associate of the offeree company—executed three on-market purchases on behalf of discretionary clients:

• 100,000 shares at HK$0.4425 per share • 882,000 shares at HK$0.4425 per share • 666,000 shares at HK$0.4400 per share

The aggregated 1.65 million shares were acquired for a weighted-average price of approximately HK$0.44 per share, raising Weiss AM’s holding from 650.63 million to 652.18 million shares. Post-transaction, Weiss AM controls 7.01% of Continental Aerospace’s issued share capital, up from 6.99%.

Based on the resultant holding of 652.18 million shares representing 7.01% of the company, Continental Aerospace’s total issued share capital is inferred to be about 9.30 billion shares. The disclosure forms part of the ongoing proposed delisting process of Continental Aerospace from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
