Black Sesame International Holding Limited (Black Sesame) announced that founder, chairman and CEO Mr. Shan Jizhang has voluntarily prolonged the lock-up period on his entire direct stake of 44.10 million shares—approximately 6.18% of the company’s issued share capital—by an additional 12 months.
The existing lock-up, originally set to expire on 7 August 2026 under Rule 18C.14 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules and previously extended in August 2025, will now run through 7 August 2027. During this period, Mr. Shan commits not to dispose of any of his locked-up shares.
Management links the move to confidence in Black Sesame’s long-term strategy to transition into a comprehensive on-device AI inference solution provider.
