Oil Prices Set to Rise Tonight: Latest Pump Prices Revealed Across Yunnan

Deep News09-11 21:51

Motorists should plan ahead as fuel prices are set to climb starting tonight. Following the National Development and Reform Commission's latest announcement, the retail caps for gasoline and diesel across Yunnan have been officially updated.

The adjustment comes after escalating US-Iran tensions caused global crude oil prices to surge sharply since the last domestic fuel price revision on August 28. In particular, crude prices from the Middle East have shown an unusual spike, prompting authorities to take temporary measures to mitigate the impact on the domestic market while safeguarding economic stability and public welfare.

Under the existing pricing framework, standard gasoline and diesel prices would have required an increase of 435 yuan and 420 yuan per tonne respectively, based on calculations for September 11. However, following the temporary regulatory measures, the actual increases have been set lower at 260 yuan and 250 yuan per tonne.

Below are the newly adjusted maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel across various regions in Yunnan Province.
