APT Electronics 2025 Results: Revenue Drops 6%, Net Profit Slips 41% Amid Auto Price War

APT Electronics Co., Ltd. (APT Electronics) reported FY2025 revenue of RMB 2.43 billion, down 6.20% year-on-year. Net profit fell 40.79% to RMB 62.04 million, mainly due to intense price competition in China’s auto market and higher expenses for the new Greater Bay Area headquarters and R&D base.

Segment Breakdown • Intelligent automotive vision revenue: RMB 0.99 billion (–3.0% YoY), 40.8% of total. Automotive-grade device and module sales surged 206%, with orders up 233%. • Advanced display revenue: RMB 0.77 billion (–4.1% YoY), 31.8% of total. Mini LED capacity continued to ramp up; RGB Mini COB mass production commenced. • High-end lighting revenue: RMB 0.66 billion (–12.7% YoY), 27.4% of total, reflecting lower selling prices; horticultural lighting remained a key growth driver.

Capital Expenditure & R&D FY2025 capex reached RMB 329.20 million, focused on the new Guangzhou base and Mini LED lines. Total authorised patents rose to 453, including 139 inventions.

Dividend The Board proposes a final dividend of RMB 0.40 per 10 shares (total payout: RMB 21.49 million), subject to shareholder approval.

Strategic Outlook Management will prioritise intelligent automotive vision, accelerate Greater Bay Area construction, expand Mini LED/Micro LED capacity and reinforce high-end lighting niches. The company plans deeper integration of AI across R&D and manufacturing and will pursue semiconductor ecosystem investments through the newly formed RMB 668 million industry fund.
