Hong Kong PCB Concept Stocks Rally in Afternoon Trading Session

PCB Bancorp concept stocks saw a surge in Hong Kong afternoon trading. KB LAMINATES shares jumped over 11%, while Shenghong Technology climbed more than 16%. Dingtai High-Tech rose over 8%, and KB Group gained nearly 8%, with Guanghe Technology and Han's CNC adding close to 7%.

According to Citi research reports, August recorded the largest single-month increase in electronic cloth prices this year. The 1080/2116/7628 series saw average price hikes of 17-18% (to 13.1/12.7/10.1 yuan per meter), bringing the year-to-date increase to 118-165%. The report highlights that AI power supply demand is squeezing traditional supply, pushing costs toward copper-clad laminates (CCL). KB LAMINATES may raise its August CCL spot prices including tax by another 10-15%, with the year-to-date average price nearly doubling.
