Luckin Coffee Inc. Unveils Origin Source Cluster Strategy, Tang Wei Returns as Global Origin Advocate

On September 1st, Luckin Coffee Inc. launched its "Origin Source Festival," introducing a product matrix centered on origin sources, including the new Aksu Apple Latte, along with freshly made beverages such as Fresh Coconut Latte, Yirgacheffe Americano, Jasmine Fragrance Latte, Light Coffee Lemon Tea, and Guanxi Honey Pomelo Latte. Simultaneously, actress Tang Wei returned as "Luckin Coffee Inc.'s Global Origin Advocate."

To date, Luckin Coffee Inc. has established origin sources covering multiple global locations, including coffee origins in Brazil and Ethiopia, exclusive coconut islands in Indonesia, and dedicated jasmine flower production areas in Hengzhou, Guangxi, forming a preliminary origin cluster network. Since 2023, Luckin Coffee Inc. has initiated its "Global Bean Sourcing Plan," visiting Panama, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Yunnan China, and Brazil. In May of the same year, Luckin Coffee Inc. established an office in Ethiopia. In November 2024, Luckin Coffee Inc. signed a five-year coffee bean procurement memorandum totaling 240,000 tons in Brazil, while simultaneously establishing a Brazilian office, grower support center, and high-quality cultivation base locally.

Regarding non-coffee ingredient sourcing layout, in March 2025, Luckin Coffee Inc. partnered with collaborators to secure the Banggai Islands in Indonesia, planning to procure approximately 1 million tons of high-standard Indonesian coconuts over the next five years. Luckin Coffee Inc. and its partners also established a local grower support center to support scientific seedling cultivation and breeding, and expand planting areas. Additionally, Luckin Coffee Inc. created a dedicated jasmine flower production area in Hengzhou, Guangxi this year, with quality control covering the entire process from planting, cultivation, to harvesting. Data shows that Luckin Coffee Inc.'s Brazilian coffee bean procurement currently accounts for 60% of Brazil's total coffee exports to China. In terms of green coffee bean imports, Luckin Coffee Inc.'s 2024 procurement volume ranked among the top, accounting for over 40% of China's total green bean imports.

Notably, Luckin Coffee Inc. has launched the "Luckin Coffee Inc. Yunnan Coffee Farmer Support Plan" and "Brazilian Small and Medium Coffee Farmer Support Plan," providing sustainable farm knowledge and technical support to small and medium farmers. Luckin Coffee Inc. also supports the China Red Cross Foundation's "Angel Journey" program for screening and assistance of children with congenital heart disease in Xinjiang, helping Aksu children with heart conditions complete surgical treatment in Beijing.
