According to reports from foreign media, the Volkswagen Golf hybrid version has officially launched in Spain, positioned as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) model. It is available in two trims: Style and R-Line, with a starting price of 35,800 euros (approximately 279,000 RMB at current exchange rates).

This vehicle is primarily designed for consumers who are not considering plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) options, with its direct competitor being the Toyota Corolla. It is powered by a 1.5-liter TSI evo2 gasoline engine and two electric motors, delivering a maximum power of 170 horsepower and a peak torque of 309 Nm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, enabling short-distance pure electric driving under specific conditions.
