Tesla, Exxon Mobil, Snap And More: U.S. Stocks To Watch

With US stock futures trading lower this morning on Monday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said Musk might need to sell an additional $5B to $10B worth of Tesla stock to fund the Twitter deal depending on the financing talks this week/weekend. Tesla shares slid 3.11% to $207.77 in pre-market trading.
  • Exxon Mobil Corp shares passed their all-time high last Friday as oil prices resumed their climb and analysts raised their long-term views of top U.S. oil producer's cash flow and earnings outlook.
  • The stock hit $106.40 on Friday before closing at $105.86, above the prior record high close of $104.59 from June 8.

  • Snap shares dropped another 4% in premarket trading Monday after the poor results released last week. Snap and platforms like Meta’s Facebook and Alphabet’s Google are competing for a shrinking pool of advertising dollars this year.
  • After the markets close, Crown Holdings, Inc. is projected to post quarterly earnings at $1.79 per share on revenue of $3.30 billion. Crown Holdings shares gained 1.7% to close at $83.94 on Friday.
  • Analysts expect Packaging Corporation of America to post quarterly earnings at $2.82 per share on revenue of $2.19 billion after the closing bell. Packaging Corporation of America shares fell 0.6% to $116.20 in pre-market trading.
