Alphatec Holdings Inc. (ATEC) saw its shares tumble 6.24% on October 31, 2024, despite reporting better-than-expected third-quarter results and raising its full-year revenue guidance.
The medical device company reported a narrowed net loss of $39.6 million, or 28 cents per share, for the third quarter of 2024, compared to a loss of $42.7 million, or 35 cents per share, in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose to $150.7 million, surpassing analysts' expectations of $147.2 million.
Furthermore, Alphatec raised its full-year 2024 revenue guidance, now expecting total revenue to grow 25% to $605 million, up from its previous estimate of $602 million. The company also increased its non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA outlook to around $27 million, compared to the prior outlook of $25.5 million.
