As of January 25th, according to the production calendar, Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co.,Ltd. has overproduced its copper, lead, and zinc product output by 7,200 tons for the month, completing 111.2% of its monthly plan and successfully securing a "strong start" in the first month of production.
Entering 2026, Baiyin Group is guided by the province's "Seven Areas, One Screen, One Corridor" and "Five Strengths" initiatives, focusing on strengthening, expanding, refining, and optimizing its "six major industries" as the main thrust, sounding the charge for a full-speed start, all-out competition, and comprehensive efficiency gains to create a new phase of high-quality development for the "16th Five-Year Plan" period.
All production systems are pursuing development with a "start is the final battle" momentum and ensuring growth with a "start is a sprint" drive, adhering to daily scheduling, weekly coordination, and monthly analysis to accelerate work pace and enhance quality and efficiency.
The mining and processing system has intensively managed stope adjustments, ore supply quality control, and the coordinated operation of hoisting and transportation, ensuring that January's ore supply volume, ore processing volume, and concentrate metal volume exceeded targets by 3,100 tons, 28,900 tons, and 1,950 tons, respectively.
The smelting system, profit-oriented and cost-focused, closely monitors key tasks such as operational rates, feed volume, output, quality, and safety and environmental protection, striving to counter the impact of severe cold weather on production processes by implementing preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep, with product output and key furnace operational rates exceeding budget targets.
Specifically, the Baiyin Furnace and Flash Furnace at the Copper Company achieved a 100% operational rate, electrolytic tank opening rate reached 100%, and the Grade A copper rate hit 98.55%; all four roasting furnaces at the Lead-Zinc Plant and Chengzhou Zinc Smelter also operated at a 100% rate.
In January, Baiyin Group's processing and manufacturing system prioritized maximizing production and sales and expanding markets, conducting comprehensive assessments of market conditions, orders, and operational costs, continuously broadening sales channels, delivering product orders with high quality and efficiency, and steadily advancing producer services towards specialization and the high end of the value chain.
Notably, Xitong Processing Company produced 12,000 tons of copper rod during the month, a year-on-year increase of 135%.
Facing special low-temperature winter conditions, the Railway Transport and Logistics Company implemented a "daily clearance and settlement" work mechanism, effectively ensuring smooth and stable supply chain operations.
In January, the Railway Transport and Logistics Company handled 1.552 million tons of logistics volume, exceeding the monthly budget, and successfully launched Gansu province's first dedicated train of sulfuric acid tank containers from Baiyin to Korla on January 19th, successfully opening up a dedicated railway transport artery connecting the major chemical production regions of Gansu and Xinjiang.
