The largest single-capacity offshore wind power project in Zhejiang Province—the Zhoushan Offshore Wind Power Xiangshan Phase II Project (referred to as the Xiangshan Phase II Project)—has been awarded the 2026 first batch of China Power Quality Engineering Awards. As the complete equipment and operation and maintenance service provider, Yunda Energy Technology Group contributed to the project's excellence through innovative technology and full-cycle services. Located in the Xiangshan sea area of Ningbo, the Xiangshan Phase II Project has a total installed capacity of 504 megawatts, making it the largest single-capacity offshore wind farm project under construction in Zhejiang Province during the same period. After full-capacity grid connection, the project can generate approximately 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. Compared to traditional coal-fired power units, it can save 532,500 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.0217 million tons, providing strong support for regional energy structure optimization and the achievement of "dual carbon" goals. As the equipment supplier for the project, Yunda customized and configured 56 WD225-9000 offshore wind turbine units for the project. These units, core products of the 9MW "Sea Eagle" platform, are currently the highest single-unit power wind power equipment in the Zhejiang sea area. Adopting a high-speed transmission and 10.5KV three-level classic high-reliability technical route, they offer excellent typhoon resistance and power generation efficiency, perfectly adapting to the complex marine environment of the Zhejiang sea area and laying a solid foundation for the project's efficient and stable operation. In terms of technological innovation, Yunda pioneered a globally unique "one turbine, one storage" customized solution, becoming a core highlight of the project's excellence. The company innovatively adopted the technical path of simultaneous construction and grid connection for "offshore wind power + new energy storage," equipping each wind turbine unit with a 540kWh energy storage system. A total of 56 sets of energy storage equipment were deployed and placed on the wind turbine tower platforms. This solution not only addresses the challenge of energy storage allocation for offshore wind power, effectively reducing land acquisition costs for centralized energy storage, but also provides backup power for the unit control system and yaw system during extreme weather such as typhoons or sudden grid power outages, ensuring the safety and stability of the units. Additionally, it can actively participate in primary frequency regulation of the grid, smooth wind power output fluctuations, improve power quality, and achieve optimal economic synergy between energy storage and offshore wind power. The related technology has received international energy storage innovation awards and gained high recognition in the industry. Beyond core equipment supply, Yunda was deeply involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, including construction and operation and maintenance services. During the construction process, the company actively collaborated with the project owner, Guodian Power Zhoushan Offshore Wind Power, and integrated deeply into the "1 support + 4 key initiatives + 1 pilot" intelligent management system. This helped the project achieve full-process visual management of key elements such as engineering progress, offshore weather conditions, and personnel and vessel safety. During the operation and maintenance phase, Yunda established a professional technical team focused on core aspects such as equipment maintenance, fault troubleshooting, and repair upgrades. The company continuously carried out technical research and service optimization, maintaining a 100% operation and maintenance qualification rate and ensuring efficient and reliable equipment operation, providing full-chain service support for the project's excellence. This award is a high recognition of Yunda's product reliability, technological innovation, and service fulfillment capabilities. In the future, Yunda will take this award as an opportunity to uphold the philosophy of "continuous improvement and innovation leadership," further deepen its efforts in offshore wind power, continuously enhance product performance and service quality, strive to set a benchmark in offshore wind power services, and contribute more to China's green and low-carbon energy transition.
