On this year's Fortune Global 500 list, Amazon.com has claimed the title of the world's largest company, ending the 12-year consecutive reign of Wal-Mart at the top. Wal-Mart now ranks second.
China's State Grid Corporation remains in third place. The fourth and fifth positions are held by UnitedHealth Group and Saudi Aramco, respectively.
