Recently, MedBench, an authoritative medical large model evaluation platform led by the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (a national-level AI research institution), released its latest in-depth assessment of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) clinical and research capabilities. In the latest rankings, HK ROBOTICS' (00370) "HKR_TCM_HW_v1" model outperformed advanced global models such as Grok-4 and GPT-5, securing the top spot in the comprehensive ranking. Notably, it far surpassed the second-place model in the TCM professional exam (TCM_Exam), setting a new industry benchmark. Supporting institutions for the rankings include Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.
MedBench thoroughly evaluates TCM models across five core dimensions: TCM fundamentals, classical understanding, clinical diagnosis and treatment, herbal prescriptions, and acupuncture and massage. The platform employs multi-dimensional test questions and real-world clinical case scenarios to accurately assess a model's TCM expertise and practical application.
HK ROBOTICS' Active Health Management team utilized proprietary algorithms to reconstruct ancient TCM texts, modern authoritative textbooks, and millions of medical Q&A pairs, creating a high-quality training dataset. Through instruction fine-tuning techniques, the team successfully integrated heterogeneous TCM theoretical systems into the model parameters, endowing HKR_TCM_HW_v1 with robust TCM capabilities.
HKR_TCM_HW_v1 not only represents a breakthrough in TCM large model technology but also provides a new perspective for proactive TCM health management. Centered around this model, HK ROBOTICS has developed a TCM wellness super-intelligent agent, serving as the core engine for its AI Active Health Center. This platform offers users one-stop services, including TCM health analysis and personalized health regulation solutions.
The AI Active Health Center, jointly developed by HK ROBOTICS—Hong Kong's first embodied intelligent robotics company—and China’s preventive medicine leader Meinian Health, is a benchmark for next-generation intelligent health management solutions. The solution embodies the "active health" philosophy, leveraging a full-scenario smart device matrix and AI health management agents to create a closed-loop system covering "detection-analysis-intervention" across the entire health management cycle.
This innovative model can empower diverse scenarios such as preventive medicine, chronic disease management, workplace health, and community value-added services, ushering the health management industry into a new era of "active prevention." Currently, the AI Active Health Center has begun batch deliveries to partner enterprises.
