Iraq's Electricity Ministry Reports Substantial Rise in Gas Imports from Iran

According to a statement from Iraqi Electricity Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Mousa, pipeline gas flows from Iran to Iraq have more than doubled in recent days, increasing from approximately 6 million cubic meters per day to 16 million cubic meters per day. Gas supply from Iran to Iraq had previously been interrupted in November due to maintenance issues. Although supply resumed before the outbreak of conflict, overall levels remained low.
